One unit and two units cost the same, so if you have a second one, have it done. Normal and foam jet servicing are the same price and count together. Faults are a fixed price for the visit: dripping water, weak cooling or a unit that won't start is $59 and that settles it; a blocked drain pipe is $119. Gas top-up is $179 for R32, $159 for R410A and $99 for R22 — full or half top-up included, and $20 a unit cheaper booked with a service. Outdoor condenser cleaning is $49 a unit, booked as its own visit.

Between services, wash the dust filters yourself monthly — slide them out, rinse, dry, slide back. It's ten minutes, keeps cooling strong, and stretches the time between paid visits.
Signs you're overdue: airflow feels weaker than it used to, a musty smell when the unit starts, or water dripping from the indoor unit. All three mean the coil and drainage need attention, not just the filter.
If the unit still smells or drips after a normal service, it's overdue for a chemical overhaul — regular servicing keeps you off that path.
Two units cost $58, and so does one — if you have a second unit, have it done at the same time. From three units it drops to $25 each.
